NHSTE offers professional development for technology using classroom teachers and
technology integrators. Many of us consider ourselves a mix of these
two positions. This group is provided with three workshop days
per year and other informal meetings. The workshops are generally held in October, January, and March with the topics varying to cover all the content areas through a three year cycle.
For more information or to make suggestions contact Kita Maciolek, the TT SIG Chair at kitam@metrocast.net or our office, office@nhste.org at NHSTE.
Every other year in the fall, NHSTE devotes the Tech Teacher SIG workshop to addressing the needs of special learners. Last held in 2008, we are happy to announce that the focus of the October 27th event is once again Assistive Technologies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Join us for another exciting event. The 2008 Assistive Technologies event sold out at nearly 150 participants, so get your registrations in early.
