Josiah Bartlett Elementary School Team Leader: Jimi Emery Email: jemery@jbartlett.k12.nh.us The goals of the Josiah Bartlett team is to have their first and second graders come together in the JBES Village Activity Centers where they can learn through tactile, hands-on projects that will provide them skills to become successful lifelong learners. The focus of these Village Activity Centers will be on STEM based activities as well as literacy and writing. Interlakes Middle/Senior High School Team Leader: KarolBeth Glover Email: karolbeth.glover@interlakes.org The goal of the Interlakes team is to develop Mobile Makerspace carts that are designed around the principles of the Maker Movement and Engineering Design Process. The team envisions supplying the carts with Lego robotics, Vernier probes, physical computing resources and raw materials. The 8th graders are exploring energy transformations and with the knowledge they have gained so far will design their own solar panel cars.
