Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful summer. Some of you have already welcomed students back, while others are just days away.

Last spring, concerns about student screen time, online safety, and data privacy came to the forefront for parents, school boards, and policymakers. As the new school year begins, districts have an opportunity to turn those concerns into clear, trusted technology practices.

​Join Dr. Karla Burkholder, CETL, Deputy Executive Director of Texas Education Technology Leaders and former TCEA president, and Jaime Casap, former Chief Education Evangelist at Google, for a practical conversation on what district leaders should do next.

​Together, they will explore how schools can address screen-time concerns, protect student data, and rebuild trust in the technology decisions that support teaching and learning.
