Conference Registration Information
You must register for the general conference in addition to your hotel arrangements. Save on conference registration by registering early:- Super Early-Bird rates run through March 3rd
- Early Bird registration is through May 1st
To ensure this, be sure to click on NHSTE in the pull-down list of affiliate organizations.
You can register online at the ISTE 2020 website. Be sure to identify that you are a NHSTE member.

NHSTE Housing Block Information
BIG CHANGES FOR THE HOUSING BLOCK THIS YEAR!!!As in the past, you are responsible for booking your own hotel arrangements. A limited number of rooms remain that are close to the convention center, so you are encouraged to reserve rooms ASAP even if you a not positive you will be attending.
This year there are TWO identified ISTE Affiliate hotels for ALL the ISTE Affiliates. ISTE leadership selected these hotels and the affiliates are not required to select either one or the other but may choose to do do. Rooms in these hotels will be available through February 2nd or until all are booked (whichever happens first).
These hotels are:
- Hilton Anaheim ~ Co-Headquarter Hotel (beside the ACC)($244 for S/D)
- Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center (.9 mile from ACC) ($229 for S/D)

If you are not interested in either of the ISTE Affiliate hotels, the following are all less expensive, about a half mile from the Anaheim Convention Center, offer free wifi, and some include continental breakfast:
- Cortona Inn ($213 for S/D): .4 m to ACC - free wifi, free hot continental breakfast, free onsite parking
- Red Lion Inn ($205 for S/D): .4 mi to ACC- free wifi, no breakfast
- Kings Inn Anaheim at The Park & Convention Center: ($179 for S/D): 4 mi to ACC - free wifi
- Fairfield Inn by Marriott ($225 for S/D): .5 mi from ACC - free wifi, no breakfast but Paneras close by
- Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Anaheim-Garden Grove ($177 for S/D) - .6 mi from ACC; free wifi and free breakfast

Remember to put a note in your calendar prior to the "cancellation without penalty deadline" to double check your plans and cancel any reservations you no longer want.
Important Notes: (please note that the dates below in red will be updated as soon as information is available)
- April x, 2020: Reservations may be adjusted or cancelled WITHOUT penalty through 5:00 p.m. EST on this date.
- Reservations cancelled after 5:00 p.m. EST on April x, 2020, will be assessed a $150 cancellation fee, unless specific alternative arrangements have been negotiated with ISTE.
- February 2, 2020: All unused rooms in the two ISTE Affiliate hotels will go back into the general housing pool!
- June x, 2020: All cancellation, changes, and new reservations need to be sent directly to the hotel. Any reservations cancelled with the hotel are subject to a hotel cancellation fee according to the individual hotel policies.
