Each month, NHSTE presents a 30-minute in depth review of just ONE tech concept or resource to help you!

You do not need to master complex prompt engineering to use AI. In this Little Bytes, we learn how to build, use, and share Custom Gems (Google Gemini’s tailored AI assistants). Rebecca walks through a simple recipe for creating personalized Gems for topics such as differentiation, creating sub plans, and creating rubrics. Whether you want to build Gems for yourself or create a shareable library for your grade-level team or school, you will walk away with ready-to-use templates that save hours all year long.

Each LITTLE BYTE generally includes a 20 minute overview that includes 3 ideas, tips, or tools you can use immediately then concludes with 10 minutes for Q&A and sharing.

Attend live 4 LITTLE BYTES between October 2026 and May 2027 to receive a Certificate of Participation for 2 hours of professional learning.
