James Faulkner Elementary School Printing Creativity Team Leader: Jacqui Cornwell Contact: jacquelyn.cornwell@sau24.org The goal of the Printing Creativity project is to enhance student collaboration, engagement, resiliency, and creativity by immersing students in the design process. Teachers will have support in planning, delivering, and assessing not only the existing content standards in an innovative way, but ISTE, our adopted Future Ready district standards and Work-Study Practices. Learning to adopt innovation as a mindset, trusting in the collaborative design process, and always improving our ability to articulate solutions. The tangible resource created through the Printing Creativity project will be a shareable database of lessons across the curriculum that integrates 3D printing. To learn more about the Printing Creativity project read their Chris Nelson Memorial Grant Application. Winnisquam Regional Map Out Team Leader: Brian Winslow Contact: bwinslow@wrsdsau59.org Through the MAP OUT! project students will learn how to create Story Maps using Global Information System, GIS, to visualize, question, analyze, and understand data about the world and human activity. Story maps use Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to combine geospatial data with photos, video, audio, and text to visualize a theme or sequential events. Story maps serve as a great tool for public engagement because they can easily be shared via social media or embedded within a website. To follow the grant team's progress, follow along on their Map Out Padlet blog. To learn more about the Map Out project read their Chris Nelson Memorial Grant Application. |
